How to Meditate on Maha Shivaratri?

1. Silent Meditation

  • Sit in a calm and quiet place.

  • Close your eyes and focus on your breath.

  • Chant "Om Namah Shivaya" silently for 15-30 minutes.

2. Mantra Meditation

  • Select any Shiva mantra and repeat it 108 times.

  • Focus on Shiva’s divine form while chanting.

3. Trataka ( Diya Gazing Meditation)

  • Light a ghee lamp diya and focus on its flame.

  • This increases mental focus and removes distractions.

4. Shiva Lingam Meditation

  • Offer water and Bilva leaves "Bel Patra" to a Shiva Lingam.
