One of the most well-known miracles occurred during the installation of the Hanuman murti at Kakrighat. Though only langurs were usually seen in the area, on the day of installation, hundreds of monkeys gathered, as if welcoming Hanuman-ji. This divine event reinforced the belief in Baba’s spiritual power.
Another well-known miracle involved G.L. Sah and his wife in 1982. Their car’s brakes failed near Kakrighat, but as they passed Baba’s temple, they saw a sadhu blessing them. Miraculously, their car stopped safely, and later they recognised Neem Karoli Baba’s image as the same sadhu they saw. This event deepened their faith in Baba’s divine presence.

Sombari Baba and the British Official Story
A remarkable incident from the British era highlights Sombari Baba’s teachings. A British man, unaware of the sanctity of Kakrighat, went fishing in the river but caught nothing. That night, he experienced supernatural occurrences and was advised to seek Sombari Baba’s blessings. When he met the saint with offerings, Baba instructed him to feed the fish with love. Initially, the fish refused to eat, but when he truly changed his approach, the fish eagerly took the offerings. This story emphasises the power of love and respect in all relationships.

Shivling Worship at Kakrighat
A Shivling worshipped by Somvar Giri Baba was placed in a temple in November 1982 after performing traditional rituals. This Shivling continues to be a significant spiritual site for devotees.
